"I knew I was in the best hands"

I like to express my deepest gratitude to the Emerald Team at Craigavon Area Hospital, Southern Trust, for the outstanding maternity care I received throughout my pregnancy and childbirth. The level of support, kindness, and professionalism shown by the entire team was truly exceptional, and I feel incredibly lucky to have been under their care.

A special thank you to my wonderful midwife Gillian, who looked after me throughout my pregnancy journey. Gillian is a sweet soul—so well-spoken, compassionate, and incredibly knowledgeable. She always made me feel comfortable, informed, and confident at every stage. Her support and guidance were invaluable, and I always felt reassured knowing she was there for me.

Rachel was the midwife who cared for me during the birth. I cannot thank her enough for the calm, supportive, and attentive care she provided during such an intense time. Rachel was there for me in every way possible, offering encouragement and reassurance. She made me feel safe, and I knew I was in the best hands. Even though my baby was born by emergency C-section, Rachel was by my side, making sure I was supported both emotionally and physically.

The Emerald Team’s dedication, compassion, and professionalism made such a difference to my experience. I will always be grateful for the exceptional care I received from Gillian, Rachel, and the entire team. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for looking after me and my baby so wonderfully.
