"Paediatric ophthalmology clinic"

About: Outpatients Services / Children’s Eye Multi-Disciplinary Clinic

(as a service user),

My 11 year old son was seen in a Saturday paediatric ophthalmology clinic after a long time on the waiting list. The clinicians were all very professional and friendly and made my son feel comfortable during the various tests. The fact that the tests were all completed at the same time was great as it avoided the potential of several hospital visits. I was very grateful that the clinicians were all working on a Saturday to make this happen.

Dear Algenon,

Thank you for your kind words regarding the Paediatric Ophthalmology team. I am delighted that both you and your son had a good experience at your appointment.

The team are always looking at ways to ensure they see patients as quickly and efficiently as possible. The Saturday clinics are just one of a number of different initiatives the team are undertaking to ensure our patients are seen.

I will be sure to pass on your lovely feedback.

Regards

Adam
