"Invite to AAA screening"

About: Regional AAA Screening Programme

(as the patient),

Letter received mid Feb with appointment arranged at Arches Wellbeing & Treatment centre in mid March.

Reason for my invite was age approaching 65.

Appointment was on time and dealt with very professionally and taking time to help me understand the potential condition and how the screening worked: what was being looked for and what happens next depending on the results.

Thankfully all ok and no further checks needed with a letter going to my GP confirming. It is really great that this level of care and interest is in place and should be recognised for what it is. We are very fortunate that this is how or health care works and that proactive interest and checks take place. A credit to all who are part of this and the wider organisation.

Thank you for taking time to give feedback on our service.

I am pleased to hear that your experience was a positive one and have fed this back to the screening team.

Kind Regards,
