About: Adult Health and Social Care Localities / Treatment Rooms Barrhead General practices in Greater Glasgow & Clyde

(as the patient),

Damaged my front leg while trying to get on a tour bus - sliced a large flap of skin off. Bled copiously - I have peripheral vascular disease which hinders healing in that area - Was seen at hospital and wound dressed. 

Afterwards went to my own medical practice - Gleniffer Medical in Barrhead and was put under care of the treatment room nurses and in particular the lovely Amy who oversaw my bi-weekly treatment and dressings.

I could not have asked for better care - so patient and gentle (I am 83 years old) - all the nurses were wonderful and I cannot praise them enough. 

People complain about our health service but the practitioners on the front line are the best in the world. I cannot thank them enough. Amy took delight in the progress of my healing and was genuinely happy when she discharged me as healed. Lovely young woman.
