"Appalling "

About: St Lukes Primary Care Centre

It’s impossible to actually speak to anyone, let alone get an appointment. For two weeks I have been trying to call for an appointment or at the very least speak to someone, every time I called, the automated system told me the “care management team “ were too busy and cut me off. I’ve called a total of 97 times to no avail.

Being disabled, I’m physically unable to go to the practice to speak to someone.

How an earth is anyone able to speak to someone??? Let alone get an appointment???

The online system won’t even let me in as my details have clearly been input incorrectly.

Not a reassuring or good start as a new patient who is unwell and vulnerable.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us.

I’m sorry to hear you’ve been having trouble reaching the practice to arrange an appointment. When you hear the message “our call queue is at capacity,” it means the number of people in the queue has reached its maximum. We set this limit to ensure we can assist everyone waiting for an appointment in a timely manner.

We’ve noticed that call volumes tend to decrease slightly after 8:00 AM. If you’re able to, you might have better luck calling shortly after the lines open.

If you need assistance with online access, please feel free to call the practice and press option 6 for administration. Alternatively, you can email us your name and date of birth at nccg.contact.stlukesduston@nhs.net, and we’d be happy to support you further.

Thank you for your patience, and we look forward to helping you.
