"They were so accommodating"

About: Victoria Hospital / Admissions Unit 2 (Emergency Surgical) Victoria Hospital / Out of Hours

(as a service user),

I was admitted to AU2 after being seen by the OOH GP. I was settled in, had blood tests and a review by the doctor soon after that. At all points, staff were kind, considerate and listened to what I was saying. I had a scan done the same day which confirmed the diagnosis.

The medical staff were very efficient in sorting investigations and communicating outcomes, but it’s the nurses, student nurses and healthcare assistants who I really want to thank. They were so accommodating of my child visiting to breastfeed, checking medications, ensuring I had all that I needed and giving me some chat when they were in doing their jobs. I can’t say thank you enough.

Dear Pancreatitis101

Thank you for taking the time to leave such lovely feedback for all the staff in Admissions 2.

It`s great to hear that your hospital experience has been a positive one and you were looked after so well. I will share this with the team.

I hope you are recovering well at home and getting plenty of rest.

Best wishes

Lynsey
