"Rheumatology OT Fatigue Management Programme"

About: University Hospital Wishaw / Outpatients Occupational Therapy

(as the patient),

I attended a 2 hour session at Cumbernauld Health Centre, once a week for 5 weeks run by O Ts Jackie and Jenny. It was a very worthwhile course and the support received from them and other course participants was excellent. I feel that the skills learnt and experience shared by other participants has given me the incentive to manage my fatigue and health conditions better. I am now losing weight, have joined the gym, walk more and do some exercise classes. The difference in my mental approach to my health as a result of attending is significant.

Dear Lassiewean23

Thank you for taking time to share your experience of the Occupational Therapy Fatigue Management Group and the impact it has had on your approach to managing your health. I will ensure I share your feedback with Jacqui and Jenny who I'm sure will be delighted it has been so positive. It is always so lovely to hear of the benefits people experience when being part of the group and I am so glad that you have found it worthwhile,

With very best wishes,

Pamela
