"Transformational Water Births"

About: Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh at Little France / Lothian Birth Centre

(as a service user),

I had my first daughter in June 2020 during Covid, my second in August 2022 and now a baby boy a week ago at the birth centre at the Royal infirmary. I wanted to share, start to finish this time and every time how cared for and supported I’ve felt during my labours/births.

I have had empowering water births that would not have been possible without the unwavering support of staff at hand and my most recent experience with Lyndsey and Ming have left me changed for the better and given me the tools I need mentally and emotionally to move forward during this postpartum period, third time around.

I cannot express enough gratitude to everyone who works at the birth centre and especially to Lyndsey and Ming for treating me with so much care and consideration.

Thank you to all for your hard work everyday, it does not go unnoticed.
