My sister attended for induction in mid August 2024 to ward 23. It was her first baby and first experience of being in a maternity ward. Ann Marie looked after her during her time within the antenatal ward and made her feel safe and fully informed about her induction process. She was then moved into AMU for her labour care the next day. Kerry Ann, Nicola and Morgan looked after her during labour and provided exceptional care and attention to her and her partner. Following handover she was cared for by Alana and her student Dawn. Alana and Dawn were amazing and the care they provided was also exceptional. They ensured my sister and her baby were safe and their care and compassion at such a vuln erable time was second to none. Following delivery a minor emergency occurred and it was dealt with efficiently and effectively. Gayle was in charge and stepped in to assist and kept me updated as I sat outside waiting. I cant thank her enough for not only looking after us all but looking after her staff too during an emergency situation.
I cant thank all the staff enough for providing such wonderful care to my sister and my nephew. They are an incredible bunch of ladies who are an absolute credit to NHS Lanarkshire. They made my sisters first experience of giving birth a truly wonderful time that I know she will never forget. I know I will never forget the care, compassion and kindness that she was shown from each and every member of staff who cared for her. Thank you from a very grateful sister and auntie.
