"I felt the midwives provided helpful advice and support"

About: Continuity of Midwifery Carer Service / Sapphire Team

(as a service user),

I had my second child in December 2024 at Daisy Hill at was cared for by the continuity of midwifery team.

I couldn't fault the care I received during my pregnancy by the continuity of midwifery midwifes I met.

At each appointment I felt that everything was well explained and the midwives were very caring, took time to listen to any concerns I had and always provided helpful advice.

I really liked that I met the same midwives over and over again at my appointments during the pregnancy and birth. This made me feel like I could be more open and honest with them during the postpartum appointments when I was back at home with my son and I felt that feeding wasn't going very well. I felt the midwives provided helpful advice and support and they later followed up to make sure that things had improved and my baby was more settled.

The continuity of midwifery midwives I met at Daisy Hill really were a lovely team and I couldn't thank them enough for the excellent care my baby boy and I received.
