"He made the whole experience so much easier"

About: University Hospital Hairmyres / Cardiology

(as the patient),

Attended the echocardiography clinic, cardiology due to breathlessness.

Straight away Paul made me feel at ease when he came to get me in the waiting room. He protected my dignity by explaining he only needed to lift my jumper, rather than remove it for the procedure. He then explained what he could see. His personality and bed side manner continued to keep me at ease throughout and he took the time to discuss the results and the next steps.  He really was so good doing his job and made the whole experience so much easier.
