I called obstetrics triage and then was told to come in to see them with reduced fetal movements. Thankfully on the journey I felt my baby moving but I was still worried that something was wrong due to various past experiences.
I was seen quickly by one of the midwives (Katrina) who assessed me and applied monitoring. I was reassured after this monitoring period that my baby was happy but she gave me various follow-up options to see what I felt most comfortable with in the run up to my planned c-section. I liked that I could be involved in this decision and, although I decided that I did not need to be seen again routinely, I felt that I had options.
My little one arrived safely and a couple of months later I wanted to take the time to express my thanks for the care I received at a very stressful time.
