"Best decision I ever made!"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Endometriosis Service Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Gynaecology (Ward 49) Royal Alexandra Hospital / Gynaecology/Colposcopy Outpatients

(as a service user),

I want to thank everyone at the BSGE clinic in Glasgow and in particular: Dr Datsun; Dr Hawthorn; Rosie; Cheryl; Pauline and all at the pre-op clinic.

Following 27 years of pain, fatigue and horrific periods which drastically impacted my health and wellbeing - I was referred to and operated on by the above team for both Endometriosis and Adenomyosis.

The result has been truly life changing and although early in my recovery the Endo pain has gone!

As a nervous patient - everyone at the clinic above listened to my concerns, offered advice and support and made me feel validated for the first time in years! I’ve have previously felt like a hypochondriac and burden on the NHS.

I was empowered to make lifestyle changes to help manage my symptoms; provided advice on medication and ultimately reassured about surgery options. It the best decision I ever made! THANK YOU!

Dear Appreciative Patient,

Thank you so much for taking the time to thank the endometriosis team.

It's lovely to hear the positive feedback that our fabulous team made you feel listened to and empowered. They are very passionate about their work and care about their patients and it shows in your response.

I'm so pleased to her it's been a life changing outcome for you. We hope to have this same outcome for all our patients.

Wishing you all the best for your endometriosis free future.

Kind regards

Fiona Proctor
