About: Inclusion Recovery Hampshire / Winchester

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

Im deeply ashamed that I didn't know there was a Westgate museum in Winchester. I was pleasantly surprised when on a trip there with other service users of the Winchester service. I was also unaware that the round table dated back to the mid 13th century, as i thought it was a much later copy.

I thoroughly enjoyed the trip to the Westgate museum and the Great Hall and as i am fairly new to the area it was good to learn about some local history.

Hi,

I'm so glad you enjoyed the recent trip to the Westgate Museum and Great Hall in Winchester and were able to learn more about the local history of the city.

Its so important to be able to explore new interests, or reconnect with old ones, in recovery.

Regards,

Simon Davis - Service User Involvement Co-ordinator
