"Excellent Service in Lagan Valley CCU"

MY REVIEW OF LAGAN VALLEY HOSPITAL ....Recently I had been feeling poorly and had no luck getting an appointment with my GP Surgery, after repeatedly phoning 20 times a day and being told the surgery is now booked up for the rest of the day when you eventually do get through. . It all came to a head for me when I came home from work on Monday, I went straight to bed, no supper, tea nor nothing , I just wanted to lie down. About 2am my breathing got so weak I honestly thought it was my time.

I didn't sleep all night and phoned the LVH Urgent Care Centre at 8 O'clock on Tuesday morning. The Receptionist asked me what was wrong then got me to explain to a Doctor who asked me to come over at 9am. I only live minutes away from Lagan Valley but I got a Taxi.. I couldn't walk the length of myself at the time. I went straight to Reception and was called inside 5 minutes. The Doctor there examined me and told me I was lucky I had came in and not to be making any plans for later because he was admitting me into the Coranary Care Unit for observation.

They began with a covid & virus test, took my bloods, ECG, temperature, heart rate and pressure etc. I mean they were Thorough and this already began to make me feel better knowing that someone was eventually trying to help me. During my stay there I really got my eyes opened to what goes on behind the doors of the Lagan Valley Hospital, Beginning with a Dedicated Staff who are run off their feet 24/7 and still have all the time in the world for you when you call; the Specialists, Consultants, Doctors who operate on you,, after he has finished with you he may be flew off to London , Dublin or wherever to preform his next operation, they really are the best about, and if that doesn't give you conference what would?

I could not complete my review without adding how Welcome everyone made me feel, nothing was too much trouble, and all my tests came back with good results. as I said, and I seen it with my own eyes, The Staff There never stop, They are A Fantastic Team. The Doctors made me feel Confident, The Nurses were lovely and made me feel Relaxed, even when they were sticking big needles into me! and my room was cleaned and sanatised every day... Meal Times?... The food in the LVH Wards easly compare with the Cafe's downtown , except your meals are delivered with a smile! and in three days they sent me back home again, very much on the mend, and with check-up appointments in a week or so to see how i'm getting on.

The things my GP Surgery Dissapointnly didn't deliver. This is my review: If I hadn't phoned Urgent Care on Tuesday morning I mightn't be writing anything today. You know it would be wrong to mention individual names here, But to everyone who helped me back to better health again, and cannot emphasize how Thankful and Grateful I am to you all for getting me better again. . . . As I was leaving a wee Nurse said to me, you know, You weren't hard work?..I Replied, Well You obviously haven't been talking to people I know!
