"Wasn't picked up the first time we visited"

About: North Devon District Hospital / Paediatrics

(as a parent/guardian),

My son was omitted to hospital with breathing difficulties. This is the second time since January this has happened.

We have been told he has a viral wheeze. Although we are pleased to have a diagnosis it’s frustrating this wasn’t picked up when we were in hospital with the same thing in January.

Dear Je551ca,

Thank you for your feedback following your recent visit to NDDH. I am sorry to read your son has been poorly and I do hope he is better now. It must have been a very difficult time for you and your son. If you ever have any questions please don't hesitate to ask the nurses and doctors on the ward or chat to your GP.

Best wishes

Teresa
