About: The Park Practice

I called the practice due to not receiving part of my results the receptionist told me this over the phone to then tell me I cant get appointment until April when challenging the receptionist explaining normal range of iron is 15-30 and I'm at a 5 which is dangerously low apparently the GP told her I'm fine to go buy over the counter which I find very hard to believe if the GP had actually said this and read my medical notes the lady on receptionist has No medical background and should not be giving results over the phone if she hasn't a clue clinically what she is talking about as a former GP receptionist if I done half of the things these receptionist done I would of lost my job breaking data protection acts and giving patients results over phone with no medical background when this is the GP job I think the GP doctors and there practice manger needs to give there receptionist more training and tell them what they can and can not do before this surgery finds them self getting closed down due to alot of neglance on GP and Receptionist and the general practice manager.

Receptionist please remind yourself you a not medical professionals and you should not be giving any medical advice or results over the phone unless you are clinical I have informed nhs England also. Good day and good luck for the future.

Maybe in the future you will treat your patients with care and support instead of leaving them on deaths door.
