"Mesh implantation and removal"

About: The National Complex Mesh Surgical Service Outpatients (New Victoria Hospital)

(as the patient),

At the beginning of December 2022 I got mesh implanted to fix a prolapse. This surgery has left me in excruciating pain throughout my body I am on strong pain meds from Dr and have had to have two nerve blocks because the surgery has left me with a excruciating pain in my leg and my leg is completely numb.

I went to the mesh removal service in Glasgow new Victoria hospital and got put on the list to get it removed got told it would be 2-3 months max as - we move very quickly to get the mesh out- and they knew how sore I was and all my complications from the surgery.

This was nearly 7 months ago and I feel I have been left I have tried chasing things up but get nowhere. I am struggling everyday in severe pain it’s not right.
