I was with my 16 year daughter and we came into A&E after an she had overdose. I saw and witnessed the health care support work that was on shift the afternoon of 18/03/2025 (N.A) and saw that she was exceptional. She gave some very good advise and care, going above and beyond to calm her and showing empathy and compassion. Talking to her about her mental health to the point she calmed and saw that her mental health was not a block on life.

Thank you for taking the time to share your recent experience of our service especially following what could only be a difficult time. It is good to hear of the care, empathy and support that the staff at the unit provided to your daughter.
This really does reflect the high standard of care we strive to provide to all our patients.
