About: Woodland Hospital

My Father chose The Woodlands hospital through the right to choose pathway for his surgery due to the shorted waiting list time. This however was a costly mistake. His initial surgery was due to take place May last year and this week has seen the 4th cancellation of this surgery. For each scheduled surgery he has followed all advice given to him, used the prescribed wash starting a week before hand, stopping prescribed medication days before the surgery making him feel generally unwell, and fasting leading up to the surgery, all to end up cancelled and having to repeat the process again and again. It’s heartbreaking to see him in so much pain, and the disappointment of it again being cancelled and having to repeat this process for a 5th time. I hope that the next surgery is scheduled asap and actually happens this time.
