I attended a private GP because I had multiple symptoms including fevers in which the GP did autoimmune testing. I was told by the GP that the PR3 antibody was positive which was suggestive of vasculitis.
I was then referred to Rheumatology and seen promptly and had an in depth consultation, blood tests and x-ray. My Immunoassay was being tested and awaiting results.
I was informed by the private GP that my results were now suggestive of localised vasculitis. I spoke to the Rheumatology consultant on the phone and wait to see Renal. I saw Renal consultant and had some more blood tests and will be followed up in 4 months time.
The laboratory had communicated with the private GP to inform that my bloods were suggestive of localised vasculitis. I feel that this is being disregarded, I don’t feel the communication has been great as to whether I have vasculitis or not or why the laboratories would say it was indicative of localised vasculitis. I’m still having fevers on a daily basis and feeling very confused as to where I’m at. I feel the communication with me hasn’t been good.
