My 95 year old dad fell and broke a hip. The ambulance staff was wonderful: reassuring, caring, professional. Moving dad from the bedroom downstairs was incredibly tricky, a tight space, made tighter by a stair lift. They made sure dad was safe, comfortable and gave reassurance.
The team, at all levels, in Ward 109 was professional, caring, took time to explain, listened, treated my father ( and his family) with respect and care.
Dad’s other health issues worsened.
At all times we felt that he was in the best place possible for his treatment of the hip, and heart and kidney problems. The doctor was Ace, seeing us almost daily for 10 weeks.
We cannot thank the team on Ward 109 highly enough.
"Wonderful treatment and care during stay"
