"Medicinal review over the phone "

About: Patford House Partnership

As A diabetic I understand I have an annual review but the stages to do this are many.. I used to see the doctor answer the questions discuss any problems or questions sign off and leave. Now I recieve am email or text answering a 10 minute questionnaire including my BP and weight at home. Then I go to a check up with an nurse who cannot give me any advice or answer my questions about my medicine and takes my blood pressure and my weight I didn't choose this appointment it was just sent out to me, already booked again. I then get a message that O need to book a followup to this appointment but this will be on the phone during my hours of work. It is against safeguarding law for me to carry my phone at work so I make special dispensation for the call and ask them the be precise about what time they will call only to get messages on my answerphone and the phone never ring. Why does it now take four different people to review my medicine. It is sooo frustrating. Face to face is a personal and far less daunting task and only requires one maybe two appointments.
