"I can’t praise the staff enough"

About: Neurosciences (DCN) / CT Guided Spinal Nerve Root Injection

(as the patient),

I can’t praise the staff enough. I was quite emotional when told about the possible risks. When you read about the information, it doesn’t seem that bad. When faced with the reality it’s very scary. The consultant was amazing, kind, patient with me and for that I am grateful. I set back his clinic and for that I am really sorry. I decided to go ahead but I really did find it a difficult decision. I weighed up the pain I am in and the thought this may go away or improve by 20% won over.

I have a good life but pain has changed so much of it I had to grab this opportunity. I am only in my 60s and nowadays that is young.

The procedure went ahead and I was spoken to all the way through to make sure I was okay.

I know I have to wait for an outcome. At the moment I have a terrible headache, sore back, numbish foot, no pain in my leg. That is a plus already.

Thank you very much

I am a specialist radiographer within neuroimaging, rotating through MRI and CT scanning, angiography and plain film imaging. I have a special interest in CT guided Spinal Nerve Root Injections (NRIs) and perform this independently within DCN Imaging.

Thanks Mojo1957

We are glad you felt supported and are happy with the result of your injection. We acknowledge that being in hospital for a procedure is daunting, but I am glad the team put you at ease.

Thank you for the feedback.
