"Pharmacy and reception in surgery not b helpful "

About: Penistone Group Pms Practice

I was extremely disappointed with the onsite pharmacy and receptionist.

I recently switched to having my prescriptions delivered, though I’m unsure why this service is available to able-bodied people, especially with the NHS struggling, but that’s another story.

Unfortunately, my latest prescription was lost in the post. As I am traveling abroad for over three weeks and leaving in just two days, this was a major concern.

When I contacted the surgery’s pharmacy for assistance, I was simply told to reach out to the online pharmacy responsible for dispatching my prescription. No further guidance was provided.

Worried about running out of medication while traveling, I asked the receptionist if a doctor could issue a new prescription under the circumstances. However, I was told there were no available appointments—unbelievable.

All I needed was a prescription.

Thankfully, my online pharmacy was incredibly helpful and professional, ensuring I had what I needed in this stressful situation.
