"Couldn’t have done today without you"

I had trauma from a past smear test. I have unexplained bleeding and haven’t had a smear test in quite some time due to trauma. Today I had a scan and a smear test. I went there with the intention of having no smear test at all. Well, Dr Youssef and Yvonne were absolutely outstanding. Dr Youssef put me at such ease within ten minutes that I agreed to try the smear test. He kept his word and gave me a guarantee that he would stop then and there if I said stop. I didn’t need to say stop because he was fast, professional and efficient doing everything I needed. Yvonne, the nurse, also was outstanding and played a huge part in making me comfortable to have it done. In fact, without Yvonne’ I definitely would not have had it done. Doctors, nurses etc are so undervalued and, in my experience, you only ever really hear from the public if it’s negative. Hardly anyone thinks to say, what a good experience I had today at whichever clinic, GP surgery or hospital ward. Thank you to Dr Youssef and Yvonne. I couldn’t have done today without you.
