I was attending dirrans centre in Kilwinning following being in a coma and needed rehabilitation due to brain damage. I have been attending for around 8 months, as far as I was aware I was still in rehabilitation programme no one advised me otherwise. I was attending weekly.
I was notified that they were going to start charging me per session for the rehabilitation programme I was referred into. I think it's an outrage that they are expecting me to pay for my rehabilitation that I was referred to following my hospital admission.
I feel that attitude from staff I have seen about the cost has been disappointing also.
