"My poor health"

I was very fortunate to be referred to The Dundee Enhanced Care at Home Team by my local GP recently.

Neither my wife or myself had ever heard of this team of professional medics. We were visited by two experienced and very helpful nurses, down to work straight away with blood pressure readings, blood sample taken and a full inquisition into my current state of health and immediate health ongoings.

The following day, two nurses and two doctors arrived with further enquiries, my wife was gently taken aside and received some assurances regarding proposed treatments for me, this non stop action continued and I soon had a blood transfusion, CT Scan followed by Gastronomy procedure followed by two further iron based blood transfusions -  yes, all of this in less than 3 weeks with results available on day after basis.

Not sure how many members we had visit our home however same applies to all -  very kind, helpful with nothing too much bother.

I officially had these service withdrawn recently, with an assurance the door is always open

How fortunate have I been.
