"Excellent OOH GP"

About: Crosshouse Hospital / Ayrshire Doctor on Call (ADOC)

(as a relative),

The OOH GP arrived at about 2:30 in the morning and was excellent.

We are so grateful he listened and examined my wife in detail. He discussed the plan going forward and reassured us.

I forgot to take his name but I hope he gets to read this. It was truly appreciated.

Dear statuspm68

With apologies for the delay, I would like to thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience of the care provided by the Ayrshire Unscheduled Care Service (ADOC)

I am delighted to hear that your wife received such professional and supportive care, from the out of hours GP who attended in the early hours of the morning. It’s often the small things that can make such a difference, such as taking time to listen to patients and provide a detailed examination, resulting in an excellent experience for both of you

Our staff really appreciate receiving feedback from their patients and the Primary Care Team can liaise with the AUSC Service to share your comments and feedback. To ensure we share your comments with the correct doctor, can you please let us know which date the doctor attended? You can do this as a response on Care Opinion or you can you send an email to HSCPAdmin@east-ayrshire.gov.uk (marked as Care Opinion).

Please accept my best wishes and thank you once again for taking the time to acknowledge your care experience.

Kind Regards

Pamela
