(as a service user),

I just want to thank Mr Kitson for his time, patience and excellence in communication with me today. I have a complex shoulder problem, and he took time and went through all the options, gave me time to share concerns and modelled everything a consultant surgeon should be in modern NHS. 

Attentive, patient, considered, evidence based and clear in everything he said and options offered.

A really outstanding Consultant.

I am responsible for monitoring overall service delivery, and the day to day running of both departments. I work closely with the Orthopaedic Consultants, Radiologists, Therapists, Trauma Nurse Practitioners, Orthopaedic Practitioners and Nursing staff to ensure cohesive care is delivered. I am very fortunate to have a dedicated team of staff, who work extremely hard to ensure patient safety is maintained, and that clinics run as smoothly as possible.
