"The care and support I received was nothing short of exceptional"

About: Maternity / Labour Ward / Delivery Suite

(as the patient),

I recently give birth to my daughter via forceps in the Ulster Hospital. I was admitted and induced at 40 weeks due to high blood pressure. My birthing experience was not straight forward however the care and support I received from all staff from start to finish was nothing short of exceptional. Myself and my husband felt completely at ease and everything was explained to us in detail throughout the whole labour. The staff could not be credited enough from consultants to midwives to support services. Thank you so much for helping to bring our beautiful daughter safely into the world and for taking care of us both at such a vulnerable time.

Dear Matmarch25,

Congratulations on the birth of your daughter, I hope you are both doing well.

It is an anxious time for parents when complications occur during your pregnancy and I am delighted that care you received left you feeling well supported and reassured. Your feedback means a lot to the teams and I will share it staff who were involved in your care.

We appreciate the time you have taken to post this feedback and it will be appreciated by all of the teams,

Kindest Regards,

Sarah
