"Taught me new skills"

About: Bromley Healthcare / Talk together Bromley (IAPT)

(as a service user),

Began having night terrors last summer because of seeing a poor lady's  brain on the floor in winter time with steam coming off it after a road traffic accident. This happened over 20 years ago and I thought I had forgotten about it.

Also had brain surgery to remove a tumour, lost both parents, and have memories of abuse I suffered when I was at secondary school.

It all got too much and my GP referred me to Bromley Talking Therapy and prescribed medication for anxiety and PTSD.

They taught me new skills and nothing has been too much trouble.

Dear marchtk57,

Thank you very much for taking the time to provide feedback of your positive experience of the Talking Therapies Bromley (IAPT) service.

I am pleased to hear that the therapist has taught you new skills to deal with the traumatic experiences you have faced. I hope the surgery was a success and that you are recovering well.

I have shared your lovely feedback with the service lead, who I am sure will appreciate your kind words.

With best wishes, Sharon

Sharon Cranfield, Patient Experience Lead, Bromley Healthcare
