"Whole System Approach"

About: Fife Community Services / Rapid Cancer Diagnostic Service (RCDS) General practices in Fife Victoria Hospital / Admissions Unit 2 (Emergency Surgical) Victoria Hospital / Urology

(as a service user),

I have just returned to Admissions Unit 2 at the Victoria Hospital, having undergone a procedure to have a kidney stent changed. I feel so grateful to have been supported exceptionally well by all those care providers involved from my GP (Dr Parish, Whytemans Brae Health Centre), the nursing staff in the unit (Katie and Marina - thank you all so much).

As someone who was apprehensive about coming in to the acute system, I need to give special thank you to the doctors who have made me feel listened to and cared for, and that I was in the right place at the right time.

The approach taken by Anna in terms of my care, is very much appreciated and I and so grateful to her for showing such compassion. Thank you so much for all you do! This was a great example of the whole care system working together.

Thank you all for caring about my wellbeing.

Dear bravoxe73

Thank you for taking the time to leave such lovely feedback. It is great to hear that your experience has been a positive one throughout.

I will share this with the staff in AU2.

I hope you are recovering well.

Best wishes

Lynsey
