"My complete experience was 100% positive"

About: Cannock Chase Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

(as the patient),

I had my knee surgery at Cannock Hospital.

I was welcomed onto Hollybank ward all the staff were brilliant, they put me at ease, explained everything that was about to happen to me.

I walked down to theatre and again everything was explained to me, theatre staff also brilliant. I drifted off to sleep next thing I knew I was walking up back on Hollybank ward everything went well with operation.

Again the staff were brilliant👍,

can't praise them enough 🙌

The physio came and took me through the exercises I need to do to get my knee into shape again, he was brilliant as well👍.

I had plenty of drinks bought in by the nurse and they made sure I had something to eat, I have to have a gluten, wheat, milk, egg, and oat free diet, which can cause problems as not all wards have access to these types of food.

I was first on theatre list, so I was in theatre just after 9:15am and I was discharged around 1pm.

My complete experience in Hollybank ward was 100% positive. Thank you all for everything you did for me ❤️
