"An exceptional level of care"

About: Cannock Chase Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

(as the patient),

I recently attended Hollybank to have an injection in my thumb to relieve the pain caused by Osteoarthritis.

A large group had gathered and we were quickly and calmly directed to our respective areas.

Despite many calls for Mr Ben Dover, no one responded.

This is typical of the good humour shared amongst staff at all levels and patients alike.

I was treated with courtesy and respect during my stay, all processes and procedures were carefully explained to me and my dignity was upheld with kindness and consideration throughout the morning.

All areas are kept spotlessly clean by the Housekeeping team who always have time to stop and say Hello.

This is not my first experience of the exceptional level of care provided at Hollybank.

It is reassuring to know that despite the current crisis in the NHS there are still areas of excellence.
