"Hospital awareness of personal issues"

About: Radiology (X-rays and Scans) / MRI Scans

(as a relative),

Partner required MRI scan to look at poor memory issues. I was not allowed to go with him to answer questions and to be informed of information regarding the scan. He is not able to remember information given orally. This could have been distressing for both of us. Was not given the chance to relay this information by the medical person who took him through and was rude in their dismissal of me. I felt very anxious about being with him and as my partner does not like hospitals I could not provide him with support. I understand that there was no waiting area but I could have returned to the waiting room once he was processed.  Never had an issue like this before.
