"Has improved my quality of life"

About: Community Therapy Services / Nottingham West Community Therapy

(as a service user),

I was referred by my GP and OT Beverley did an assessment at my home.

I felt relieved to get some help as I have been struggling to get up the stairs. We have only one bathroom and loo (which is upstairs!) An additional stair rail has now been fitted by Helping Hands. Plus toilet frame and also a commode supplied for emergency use.

Also the step out into the garden was too high for me. A plastic step now enables me to get out into the garden, which is a lifeline!

Also a new perching chair for cooking and an outdoor stroller to replace my broken one.

So I would like to send my warmest thanks to Beverley who has done such a marvellous job of helping me and improving my quality of life. She is a treasure and I hope she gets the recognition she deserves. Thank you.
