"A second family"

I've been coming here for two years. A bus collects us and we have a chit-chat, a meal, do some activities and then they take us home as well.

My family is very busy and work a lot, they try to come see me, but I understand that it's the way life is. So this place is really good for me, I would be on my own a lot if it wasn't for here. The company is the best thing, it's like having a second family here.

There is something for everyone here, dancing, music, bingo. It's great! The staff are great, really nice and we have fun. They need more places like this so everyone can go. It's been really good for keeping my brain active, and getting to talk about my childhood and share stories.
