"In and out in 23 minutes"

About: Nottingham NHS Treatment Centre

Was referred to Gateway A, dermatology, for possible skin cancer by my GP.

Got there early as wasn't sure about queues for parking. Gave my letter to the receptionist, got booked in, then sat down. 2 minutes later the consultant came to get me, saw her and a trainee doctor who examined my skin, and luckily said it didn't look cancerous, but I was referred to have a biopsy. Felt extremely reassured.

Went back to the car park and it said parking was free - win win!!!

An hour later received a call to book the biopsy.

Fantastic service all round!!

Thank you!

Dear patient,

Thank you for leaving this feedback of your experience within the dermatology department of our hospitals.

We are pleased to hear that you found your appointment to be fast and efficient and that your outcome was a positive one.

I will pass this feedback on to the dermatology matron now so that it can be shared with the team at the treatment centre.

Kind regards,

Kelly – Patient Experience Officer.
