About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Day Surgery Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Orthopaedics Outpatients / Pre-op Assessment Unit

(as a service user),

I was 1st seen in Jan 2025. Staff made me so feel calm as never been to this hospital, as live 75 miles away.

Was seen again for my pre-op, again everything fantastic.

Day of surgery was in Feb and what can I say is fantastic again the nurses, the support workers, the physio, OTs, and the surgeon who done my total knee replacement Mr Mamood absolutely fantastic.

Honestly can’t thank all the staff enough who made my appointment and stay in hospital overnight all go as good as it went.

Thank you for taking the time to write such a lovely response about your recent stay with us here in FVRH. I am very glad that all of the multiple staff made your operation such a calm experience. We work in large teams - I will ensure that Mr Mahmood gets a copy of this and will endeavour to spread to the other involved.

My recovery is going great, thank you was back at the hospital for my 6 week check up and the staff where very happy with the progress I’ve made. But that’s all due to the excellent care I received and advice going forward with my exercises
