I recently had a keyhole knee operation.
Was very worried, as you may expect.
No need to worry! The whole experience was excellent from start to finish. All the the medical and ancillary staff were excellent.
Mr Jiggins, my surgeon, came to see me just before the operation, to tell me my options if the first option to remove the loose cartilage failed. After his reassurance I told him to proceed, and he made insertions to front and rear.
Back in recovery, I came round with no pain, I had good movement, with the knee. I can do all the exercises, stand and walk with no pain. At home mid afternoon, and all is still ok.
This is my third visit to this hospital to conclude this operation, and I can't praise everyone enough. The whole hospital is well run, and they give you every confidence.
I hope this post will reassure any nervous patients.
Many thanks to you all.
