"What a remarkable service and response"

About: Urgent Community Response / Bassetlaw Urgent Community Response Team

(as the patient),

I came home following a hip operation but because I had similar ops in the past and not needed any aids I have declined receiving anything. In the event being 6 years older and the new hip is on the same leg as my knee operation I found it impossible to sit comfortably on the loo. My wife rang Golden, who contacted the Community Care, who rang within an hour.

We then had a visit, and following that a raised seat arrive the afternoon and was fitted in minutes. I received a follow up call from the lady who visited.

What a remarkable service and response I have nothing but admiration.

Thank you very much!
