The Nurse came to take bloods from a very anxious man who is an autistic person. She was very patient and calm. Initially he was so anxious she agreed to come back later in the day. She recognized the importance to him of being on time and came as agreed. She was calm, patient and very friendly. She helped the team reassure him and worked in partnership to achieve a really positive outcome. She really was impressive and I think next time may be even easier because she made him feel safe. That is so important with autism. Thank you!
