I gave birth to my daughter earlier this month at Royal Alexandra Hospital, Paisley and wanted to share how positive my care during and post birth was from the amazing team at Paisley Maternity.
I specially want to mention a few people that played a crucial role in my and my baby’s care throughout pregnancy and birth.
Siobhan (community midwife) is incredibly passionate about her job. At every midwife clinic she took her time to listen, advise and provide useful resources which ensured my husband and I were informed and educated on options available to us as first time parents. I felt empowered during my pregnancy and birth all thanks to Siobhan.
Laura & Lesley Anne & Amanda (labour suite midwives) were by my side the whole duration of my labour and reassured me every step of the way.
Their kind, compassionate nature shone through and as well as supporting me they also supported my husband and informed him on any actions/decisions taken in my care. They listened to me and read over my birth plan so were aware of my preferences which allowed me to feel empowered.
Morgan (midwife) and other Ward 31 staff were very attentive, supportive and helped me through my early stage of labour before going to the labour suite.
In general, I would also like to commend the responsiveness and quality of the services offered by Paisley Maternity unit, triage, ultrasound, community midwives, physio, parent educational classes. I had a positive experience when I needed to use these services and the staff were all so helpful and informed.
I would give the care and experience at Paisley Maternity 5 stars.
