"Great Practice"

Tried to do a Patchs for my elderley mum who has a bad chest infection this morning at 8am (Fri) but it wasn't active. Called the practice and the recorded message said no on the day appts left. I was feeling a bit helpless. But decided to call back for advice. I spoke to a lovely receptionist who was friendly and compassionate and said she would get my mum sorted. She has put her down for a possible Visit or at least a call. Honestly couldn't thank her enough. Its not easy being a sole carer while holding a job down so I'm eternally grateful for any support regarding my mum! Well done Westmoreland. GP reception staff have such a bad reputation. But its far from an easy role (from experience) x
