"My broken femur"

I had a bad accident involving a tree and ladder, and was in immense pain and shock.

I couldn't believe that I'd be able to walk again the next day thanks to the amazing surgeon that operated on my broken femur, but with the aid of a walking frame I could manage to at least get to the bathroom. 

Within a few days I was back home and able to feed and muck out my horses, and do all household chores.

I'm so, so grateful to the surgeons who have studied so long and hard for this incredible skill that can save and transform people's lives.

I will always be eternally grateful to them
