"I feel so upset and disappointed"

About: Queen's Hospital / Gynaecology

(as a service user),

I recently contacted Queen’s Hospital as I had a concern about my appointment with the gynaecologist.

The first time I called, whoever was on the other end muted themselves and then hung up one me.

The second time I called, the member of staff I spoke to was extremely rude from the jump. They asked me for my hospital number, but I wasn’t provided one as it was a referral, so I gave them my NHS number. After that they asked me if it was my hospital number or NHS number, and I told them that it was my NHS number. Right after telling them, they hung up on me.

I feel so upset and disappointed. I have never experienced anything like this. Really upsetting.
