"Each nurse displays the highest level of patient care"

About: Integrated Community Services Service Delivery Unit / Kingfisher Neighbourhood Team

(as a service user),

I am now aged 87 and over many years have been served wonderfully well by the NHS for various conditions.

Currently I am being treated for a venus ulcer on my ankle which has reoccured following previous healing!

As I am presently housebound  through a health condition and mobility issues I have home visits once a week (previously twice weekly) from district nurses to change the dressing on my leg.

Without fail, each nurse displays the highest level of patient care and professional attention which helps towards relaxation and comfort.

I am so confident in them all that when they arrive I encourage them to enter my bungalow without waiting for me to answer the door.

Also they clearly explain my wound and offer advice to control pain.

God bless you all.

We are very grateful for your feedback. It is very encouraging to hear such praise for the professionalism, dedication, and compassion consistently demonstrated by our district nursing team.

The trust and confidence you place in their care—particularly during home visits—reflects the high standard of service they strive to uphold. Your kind words serve as an acknowledgment of their efforts and a reminder of the positive impact of truly patient-centred care. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience.
