"Terrible practice"

About: Archway Medical Centre

I've been struggling with this practice for a long time, it's impossible to reach anyone competent regardless of the problem, and the stuff is extremely rude.

I had a phone call scheduled today at 9:30. The nurse managed to call me at 11:08, and she said she didn't call me at the scheduled time, because she wasn't feeling well. When I told her that in this case the reception should have informed me, she said it was more important to her to get to the hospital, than "calling some patient who wants contraception pill". Then she proceeded to tell me that the medication I requested doesn't even exist (it definitely does, I checked with my pharmacist before the appointment), and when I told her that I can literally see on a number of websites, so it does exists, she told me that I shouldn't believe everything I find on Google. She recommended another medication, and when I told her I don't want that, she said "than use condoms". She didn't even ask why I need contraception pills in the first place. (I have severe pain, nausea and other issues with my period, that's why I need mini pills because it can potentially help.) The whole thing was very humiliating, then she uploaded my treatment plan, and had the audacity to add that I shouldn't speak with the NHS with respect, because they have zero tolerance policy to abuse. Obviously I was upset, but I was at no point disrespectful, especially not abusive. Shameful behaviour, zero professionalism, everyone should avoid this place.
