About: Adult mental health / Talking Therapies Walsall

(as the patient),

My OCD took over my life in every aspect. I couldn't go and visit family members or go out in public without my OCD manipulating me into thinking I did something wrong or inappropriately.

I was struggling with OCD from when I was the age of 10, up until now which I am now in my early 20s. I had no future and got to some points where i couldn't carry on anymore. Until I tried CBT Therapy.

It's completely changed my life, especially with the therapist I had. I couldn't talk more highly of her. She’s made me look at OCD differently, that it's just a bully, and now I have different ways to fight it which my therapist has taught me.

I now have so much confidence in doing things I wouldn't normally do. And I couldn't be more thankful of my therapist and CBT therapy, which I couldn’t recommend highly enough.

To anyone out there reading this and is struggling with OCD, your tunnel may be dark, but will eventually get light, as I thought there was no future for me and now I feel like I can take on the world. Thank you.
